Client Engine Co.

Who's behind it

A small firm that does one thing properly.

Founder note

I started Client Engine Co. because the same expensive problem shows up in almost every business I look at. Demand gets generated — the ads run, the site converts, the phone number gets typed into a form — and then it sits. Not for days, usually. Just long enough.

The fix isn't more leads. It's answering the ones you already have before they go cold. That's a mechanical problem: a form submission, a set of criteria, a reply, a calendar. Machines are better at that sequence than people are, because machines are never on a roof, in a room with a patient, or at lunch.

I keep the client list deliberately small so every system is built around one business's actual criteria instead of a template with the logo swapped out. I'd rather run five systems that work than fifty that mostly do.

Principles

How we work.

Small client list on purpose

Every system is built around one business's actual criteria. That only works at low volume, so we keep the list short and say no more often than yes.

We tell you if it won't work

If your lead volume doesn't justify the build, we'll say so on the first call. A polite no costs us one project; a bad fit costs both of us a quarter.

You own everything we build

The logic, the message sequences, the integrations, the documentation. If you stop working with us, it all stays with you and keeps running.

Speed is the product

Not dashboards, not reports, not a new platform. The measurable output is how quickly a real answer reaches your lead, and how many of them turn into meetings.

Why now

This wasn't buildable three years ago.

The tools businesses already use — CRMs, form builders, calendars, messaging providers — now expose stable, documented APIs. Connecting a form submission to a CRM record and a calendar slot used to be a custom engineering project. Today it is configuration and careful testing.

Language models are finally good enough to read an inbound inquiry, check it against written criteria, and draft a reply that reads like a person wrote it. Not to close the deal — to answer the first message correctly, every time, within seconds.

And orchestration is cheap. Running this sequence costs cents per lead and completes in seconds. The economics used to only make sense for enterprises with an internal engineering team. Now they make sense for a contractor with four trucks.

The guarantee

If it doesn't book meetings, you don't pay for it.

We run a defined pilot of [PILOT LENGTH]. If the system does not reach [AGREED BOOKING THRESHOLD] booked appointments in that window, we refund the build fee in full and you keep the qualification logic and message sequences we wrote for you. The terms are written down before we start, in plain language.

A 20-minute call. We map your lead flow and tell you honestly whether this is worth doing.
